Arsenal reportedly decide to keep player that Arteta had okayed to be sold

Jakub Kiwior is expected to remain an Arsenal player beyond Friday’s transfer deadline, despite interest from several Serie A clubs. The Polish defender, who joined the Gunners in January, has seen his name linked with a return to Italy, but no concrete offers have materialized.

While Kiwior’s performances have been limited since his arrival at the Emirates, his potential has not gone unnoticed. Several clubs in Italy were keen on acquiring the 23-year-old’s services, viewing him as a promising addition to their squads. However, no concrete deals have been struck, leaving Kiwior’s future uncertain.

As the transfer window approaches its closure, it would take a surprising turn of events for Kiwior to leave Arsenal. The Gunners are unlikely to entertain any late bids for the defender, having already established their defensive structure for the upcoming season.

Kiwior’s presence provides Mikel Arteta with depth and versatility in his backline. While competition for places is fierce, the Polish international has a chance to prove himself and fight for a regular starting spot.

With no concrete offers on the table and a strong squad already assembled, it seems more likely that Kiwior will stay at Arsenal and continue his development at the club. His time to impress will come, and he will be eager to seize any opportunities that arise to showcase his talent.

The transfer window is a chaotic period, but for Jakub Kiwior, it seems his future lies at Arsenal for the foreseeable future.
