Oleksandr Zinchenko reveals what Arsenal must not copy from Manchester City
Arsenal left-back Oleksandr Zinchenko has asserted that the Gunners don’t need to copy Manchester City’s blueprint for success, but instead need to strive to be better than the reigning champions. Zinchenko, a former City player himself, believes that Arsenal are on the right track and have the potential to achieve great things in the future.
“I don’t think we need to copy someone like City,” Zinchenko told the media. “Of course, at the moment they are probably the best team in the world. If you look at the stats and titles they have won in the last couple of years, it is amazing.”
However, the Ukrainian international stressed the importance of finding their own path to success rather than simply mimicking their rivals. “You always need to look at the best but not be like them – we need to be on top of them,” he emphasized. “Arsenal are on the right way. I really hope and believe in the close future Arsenal can achieve a lot of good things.”
Zinchenko’s comments reflect the confidence and ambition within the Arsenal squad. Despite finishing second to City in the Premier League for the past two seasons, the Gunners have shown significant progress under Mikel Arteta.
Zinchenko’s experience at City gives him a unique perspective on both clubs. His belief that Arsenal can surpass City’s dominance is a testament to the progress they have made and the potential they hold. As they continue to build and strengthen their squad, Arsenal are determined to close the gap and eventually dethrone the reigning champions.
