What next for Arsenal after Emiliano Buendia transfer blow?
Arsenal appear to have missed out on signing Emiliano Buendia.
Arsenal are set to miss out on one of their major targets Emiliano Buendia with the player set to join Aston Villa.
According to Sky Sports Aston Villa agreed to pay Norwich £33m plus additional fees rising to £40m for the Argentine midfielder.
Villa acted quicker than Arsenal to snap up the player after Arsenal’s bid was turned down. The latest developments have left the fanbase utterly frustrated.
It’s the usual lethargic Arsenal that always dilly-dallies in the transfer market and ends up missing out on the players they need.

What next for Arsenal now?
Buendia was on Arsenal’s radar since last year and was believed to be their priority in the creative midfield department.
Now that they have failed to secure him the club will have to look elsewhere. A quality creative midfielder will cost a hefty fee.
As usual Arsenal are expected to be operating on a restrictive transfer budget which will limit them to specific kind of players but also convincing quality players to join the club will be difficult since Arsenal won’t be playing in Europe which is a major factor.
No European football and a limited transfer budget will negatively affect Arsenal’s quality of singings this summer. Getting outbid by Aston Villa is a bad way to start the transfer window.
The transfer window will officially open on June 9.

This attitude of price for other clubs from Arsenal FC is so shameful. It’s a pity if small club like Aston villa can hijacked our targeted player, very shameful for Arsenal board and owners.
