Arsenal receives good news about Lucas Torreira’s future

Arsenal midfielder Lucas Torreira has been heavily linked with a move to AC Milan but we've finally received the truth about these reports.

Lucas Torreira has been linked with a move to AC Milan in the last two weeks and we’ve been receiving constant reports claiming that the central midfielder has told Arsenal that he wants a move back to Italy because he is unable to adapt to the Premier League and England’s weather.

Arsenal fans were unhappy with these reports because Lucas Torreira was one of their best players last season and got surprised that he would want to leave the Emirates Stadium after having been there for just one year. Lucas Torreira however then finally put an end to these transfer rumours by making a statement on how he has not received any offer from AC Milan despite reports from Italy claiming that the Arsenal midfielder is ready to push through a move.

Lucas Torreira has already become a fan favourite at the Emirates Stadium and it looks like the Arsenal fans that were afraid that he would leave can now relax as Italian expert Mauro Suma has confirmed that there was never interest from AC Milan even though most reports said so.

“AC Milan never considered a move for Torreira, never discussed a move with his agent and never opened formal talks with Arsenal. That’s not an opinion. That’s an official line.” Mauro Suma told AC Milan TV.

This is definitely good news for the North Londoners as this shows that Lucas Torreira is still committed to Arsenal because some believed that his statement about these rumours wasn’t genuine because he doesn’t want to say he wants a move while under a contract with the gunners.
