The Premier League will be starting soon but Arsenal will reportedly be without two first team defenders in its first match of the 2019/20 campaign.

The gunners will be a making a visit to the Saint James Park for their season opening match against Newcastle United and Unai Emery will be hoping that he has a full squad at his disposal by then.
Arsenal will however come into this match without two of their first team players as a report by the Daily Mail claims that the chances of the gunners having Rob Holding at the start of the season are now slim because his knee injury will not have got fully healed in August.
Rob Holding missing the start of the season will be a huge blow for Arsenal because he was one of the top performing players when Unai Emery’s side went on an unbeaten run of 22 matches last season. The gunners looked a bit stable at the back when he was in the starting eleven.

The young centre back was very comfortable on the ball and the gunners never lost a single match in the sixteen matches that he played before he was injured after a collision with Manchester United’s Rashford at the Old Trafford. They however claim that he will start full training in August but a return date is not communicated.
Hector Bellerin will also not take part in the season opening match according to the same report and this is even a bigger blow as the gunners will struggle to get a back up for him during this summer because of their tight transfer budget. It is claimed that the Spaniard will miss the first few weeks of the new season to continue his recovery.
