Report: Latest on the Yannick Carrasco to Arsenal rumours

Yannick Carrasco has been among the players that have been heavily linked with a move to Arsenal. We explore the chances of this happening.

Yannick Carrasco has been on Arsenal’s radar for more than four weeks now and the gooners were hoping that their club would bring him at the Emirates Stadium this summer but it looks like it won’t be happening according to the latest reports from various sources.

Yannick Carrasco to Arsenal was one of the hottest Arsenal transfer news two weeks ago but things started getting quiet after Dalian Yifang F.C suspended him and then we thought that they would now let him go but the Chinese club remained adamant that they would keep the Belgian international who is one of their star players.

Yannick Carrasco’s suspension was overturned a few days ago and in the club’s statement, they said that they were happy with the way he conducted himself and hoped that he doesn’t change his behaviour in the future. Yannick Carrasco was even reintroduced to the starting eleven and he made one assist and as well as scoring one goal for his club, so it looks like Arsenal’s interest might have ended as there hasn’t been any new report concerning the future of the former Atletico Madrid winger.

Yannick Carrasco seems to be happy at Dalian Yifang F.C for now and made sure to show the fans that he is ready to continue helping his club on his official Twitter account.

Arsenal moving for other targets after the Chinese club played hardball in negotiations over Yannick Carrasco could be true as the gunners are now currently linked with a move for Wilfried Zaha.
