Declan Rice reveals the surprising food that he eats before Arsenal matches

Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice who is known for being an absolute engine on the pitch has opened up on the food he eats before matches.

Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice has revealed his surprising pre-match ritual, a unique meal that fuels his on-field performances. The England international, known for his tenacity and energy in the midfield, credits a simple yet effective dish for his pre-game boost.

“I have four pancakes before a game. Covered in syrup or honey,” Rice shared with the media. “I swear to God, it’s the best thing… When I joined the club, I could see the players eating them and thought to myself, ‘What is going on here?’ But honestly, it’s been a game-changer. I don’t understand the science behind it, what’s in them or anything like that, but it gives me such a high-energy boost.”

Rice’s pre-match meal might seem unconventional, but it clearly works for him. The pancakes provide a quick and easily digestible source of carbohydrates, delivering sustained energy for the demanding matches. While Rice admits he doesn’t fully understand the scientific reasoning, the results speak for themselves.

His revelation has sparked curiosity among fans and the football world alike, with many wondering if this simple dish holds the key to his impressive performances. Whether it’s the pancakes, the syrup, or a combination of both, Rice’s pre-game meal is certainly a unique and effective way to fuel his performance on the pitch.
