Predicted Arsenal lineup to face Fulham on Sunday

Arsenal will this weekend face Fulham away from home in yet another crucial match for the title race and so here is the lineup that Arteta is likely to use.

Arsenal will be facing Fulham on Sunday in what is expected to be a crucial match for the Gunners. Currently sitting at the top of the Premier League table with 63 points after 26 games, Mikel Arteta’s men are in a title race and will need to secure a win against Fulham to maintain their lead over second-placed Manchester City.

Arteta is likely to continue using the 4-3-3 formation that he has been using for most of the season. In terms of personnel, there are a few changes that are expected for this game.

PREDICTED ARSENAL LINEUP TO FACE FULHAM

Predicted Arsenal lineup to face Fulham

Ramsdale; Zinchenko, Saliba, Gabriel, White; Xhaka, Partey, Odegaard; Nelson, Martinelli, Saka

One notable change is Gabriel Martinelli starting as striker. With both Eddie Nketiah and Gabriel Jesus still on the sidelines, Martinelli is expected to lead the line for Arsenal. The Brazilian youngster has been impressive this season, scoring 11 goals and providing two assists in all competitions.

On the left wing, Reiss Nelson is expected to start despite his poor performance midweek in Arsenal’s 2-2 draw with Sporting Lisbon in the Europa League. Nelson will be looking to redeem himself and prove his worth to Arteta.

In defense, Aaron Ramsdale is expected to start in goal with Oleksandr Zinchenko, William Saliba, Gabriel, and Ben White forming the backline. This defensive setup has been solid for Arsenal this season and Arteta will be hoping that they can keep a clean sheet against Fulham.

In midfield, Granit Xhaka and Thomas Partey are expected to start alongside Martin Odegaard. Xhaka has been an important player for Arsenal this season while Partey has proved to be one of the best defensive midfielders in the league. Captain Odegaard has also been impressive this season and has been a great leader.

The front three of Nelson, Saka and Martinelli will cause a lot of trouble for the Fulham side that hasn’t statistically had a good defence this season.

Overall, this predicted lineup looks strong and balanced with plenty of attacking options while also being solid defensively. If they can perform at their best, Arsenal should be able to secure a vital win against Fulham on Sunday.
