Arsenal receive devastating news ahead of season opener against Crystal Palace

Arsenal will on Friday face Crystal Palace away from home and they have received bad news ahead of this game.

Arsenal will on Friday make a visit to Selhurst Park Stadium to face Crystal Palace in the Premier League season opening game and this will be a very important game for Mikel Arteta as he will wish to continue their form from pre-season into the professional games. Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta will hope to get off to a good start since its usually rare for them to be among the best performing teams in the first games of the season.

Arsenal will hope to come into this match without any problems since they seem to be in high spirits after their impressive performances in the pre-season competitions but they have however received bad news ahead of this game as per reports. Journalist Mark Mann-Bryans has confirmed that Arsenal will be without Emile Smith Rowe in their game against Crystal Palace due to an injury  and the young English attacking midfielder was their second top goal scorer for last season.

Arsenal lost to Crystal Palace 3-0 the last time these two teams met and while the gunners have made some pretty good important signings, they will still miss the presence of Emile Smith Rowe in their squad this Friday because he and Bukayo Saka & Gabriel Martinelli were the back bone of the North Londoners in the 2021/22 campaign.
