Arsenal outcast stalling on transfer exit and delaying Youri Tielemans move

Lucas Torreira is hesitant on his impending move to Galatasaray.

Arsenal agreed a £7.5m deal with Turkish side Galatasaray for the transfer of Lucas Torreira however, Torreira is still undecided despite everything being finalised for the move to happen.

The 26-year-old only has 12 months left on his deal at the Emirates has been unsettled for a while and was sent out on loan to Atletico Madrid and Fiorentina in the last two seasons.

Torreira could potentially be delaying a move for Youri Tielemans. Arsenal are expected to sign one or two more players before the end of the transfer window with Mikel Arteta keen on strengthening his squad.

Tielemans has been heavily linked with a move to the Emirates this summer with some reports suggesting personal terms have been agreed.

The plan is to offload as many fringe players to fund a move for the Leicester City midfielder. Bernd Leno has joined Fulham while Hector Bellerin, Pablo Mari and Lucas Torreira are all on the transfer list.

A move for Tielemans is on the cards with Leicester asking for £25-30m, Arteta is also keen on signing a winger.

However, a move for a winger will likely happen once underwhelming record signing Nicolas Pepe is sold.
