Tottenham Hotspur complete signing of long term Arsenal target

Tottenham Hotspur who have been busy in this summer transfer window have completed the signing of a long term target of Arsenal.

Arsenal have so far signed one player in this summer transfer window and the fans are still waiting for their club to complete the other deals since the North London has already been linked with many players over the past few weeks. Yves Bissouma is among the players that Arsenal have been linked with for over two years and even in this summer but Tottenham Hotspur seems to have stolen him from the gunners cheaply.

Arsenal are in the summer market because they want to improve many positions that will then allow them to compete with the other big six in the Premier League next season. Arsenal have in the last few weeks been linked with a move for Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Yves Bissouma since they are also in the race for central midfielders but it looks like their arch rivals might have been a bit more aggressive in their pursuit of the Mali international.

It is now been reported by many sources including Sky Sports that Tottenham Hotspur have reached an agreement with Brighton & Hove Albion for the transfer of Yves Bissouma for €26million. This will come as a blow for all Arsenal supporters that were hopeful of their club signing the Mali international as he has for long been one of the players that the fans suggested the club should sign in this transfer window.

Arsenal of course probably didn’t go deep past their partial interest in Bissouma but the fans will be bitter that the club couldn’t try when he seems to have left on a cheap price.
