Matteo Guendouzi makes statement that will upset Arsenal fans

Former Arsenal midfielder Matteo Guendouzi has made a statement that will upset many gooners.

Arsenal completed the signing of Matteo Guendouzi in the 2018 summer transfer window but things failed to work out for him under Mikel Arteta and he now made a permanent move to Marseille in this summer transfer window. Matteo Guendouzi has now made a statement concerning gunners centre back William Saliba that will upset many Arsenal supporters.

Arsenal completed the signing of William Saliba in the 2019 summer transfer window and he has since then been unable to start a professional game as he has been loaned out to French clubs to gain experience in an environment that is friendly to him. William Saliba was at the start of last season loaned to Marseille, the same club they had sent Matteo Guendouzi and these two made fantastic performances that helped the French side to get into the UEFA Champions League spots.

William Saliba will be returning to Arsenal to prepare for the new upcoming season but Marseille are still trying to sign him back and now Matteo Guendouzi has made a statement calling on the French centre back to come back to France which will upset gooners.

“William Saliba now has Marseille in his heart. I’m sure that he’ll come back to Marseille next season. I’m going to keep pushing so that he stays with us.” said Matteo Guendouzi as per The Metro.
