Revealed: Why Arsenal face problems in renewing Bukayo Saka’s contract

Arsenal want to tie down Bukayo Saka to a new contract and the gunners are however likely to face problems in doing so as per some reports.

Arsenal’s most valuable asset Bukayo Saka has just two years remaining on his current contract and although the gunners have the option to extend it for one more year, they however want to tie him down on a more longer contract since it looks like he is their best player despite his young age. The gunners are however likely to face problems in renewing Saka’s deal as per reports.

Bukayo Saka has scored 11 Premier League goals as well as making 6 assists this season and has proved to be their most valuable asset as he has shown his exceptional skills at such a young age with many fans still having the memory of watching him in the academy games. The gunners want to make sure they don’t lose their grips on him since other top clubs will try to entice him away from the North Londoners.

A report by The Daily Mail claims that Arsenal are likely to have problems in extending the contract of Bukayo Saka without putting in a release clause since its believed that the young Englishman wants to play in the UEFA Champions League, and the gunners are likely to miss out this year again. The report confirms that Bukayo Saka is happy at Arsenal at the moment and loves working with Mikel Arteta but notes that he really does want to play in the UEFA Champions League, and so that it could affect talks that will start at the end of this season.
