Arsenal have been linked with a few strikers this summer and one of them is Chelsea’s Tammy Abraham. Abraham is available for a fee of £40m or less.
Many Arsenal fans are skeptical or wouldn’t want the 23-year-old at the Emirates majorly because of how signings from London rivals Chelsea have turned out to be in the past. But here is why Arsenal should sign him;
Abraham is just 23 and yet to reach his prime, at the moment Arsenal are relying on Aubameyang 32 and Lacazette 30 who are aging and past their best years.
Arsenal’s young strikers Nketiah and Balogun have not yet matured or developed into first team players yet.
The towering Englishman stands at 6″5 and possess key attributes of a target man centre-forward. Abraham has the physical strength with good heading ability, he is capable of getting onto the end of crosses, winning long balls, or receiving passes and retaining possession of the ball with his back to goal as teammates advance.

In many games last season Arsenal attempted loads of crosses but nothing to show for it because of a lacking aerial threat.
Aubameyang despite being over 6 feet tall lacks the aerial prowess while Lacazette lacks the height. Abraham is the kind of striker that wouldn’t let Saka and Tierney’s crosses go to waste whether in the air or on the ground.
In the 2019/20 season with Chelsea Abraham netted 15 times in the League, across all competitions he scored 18 goals and setup 6 goals for his teammates. Last season he tallied 12 goals and 6 assists in 32 appearances making him Chelsea’s top scorer for the second season.
Abraham happened to support Arsenal growing up and idolized Thierry Henry. Reports also state that he want to move to north London.
