Arsenal set their asking price for Lucas Torreira after Lazio’s interest

Arsenal will look to sell Lucas Torreira in this summer transfer window and its now been reported that they have set an asking price for the player with Lazio interested.

Arsenal completed the signing of Lucas Torreira from Sampdoria in the 2018 summer transfer window and his arrival was seen as an incredible achievement since the gunners had since lacked a good defensive midfielder for long but things have however did not work as the North Londoners would have hoped. It’s now reported that Arsenal have set their asking price for Lucas Torreira with Lazio interested.

Lucas Torreira started off well his Arsenal career as he was regarded as one of the best defensive midfielders in the first half of the 2018/19 campaign but things went downhill from there as Unai Emery decided to try him in another position that he wasn’t familiar with hence the both of them falling out with each other.

Lucas Torreira hasn’t played that much under Mikel Arteta as he was at the start of last season loaned to Atletico Madrid and they didn’t permanently sign him but he has many times confirmed that he isn’t interested in staying in England. Arsenal will sell Lucas Torreira in this summer transfer window and its now reported by Sky Italy that the gunners have set an asking price of €20million for the signature of the Uruguayan international.

Lucas Torreira has always been linked with a move back to Italy as its believed that he hasn’t really settled in England as rumours of him wanting to leave the Emirates Stadium came just after a year since his arrival.
