PREDICTED ARSENAL LINEUP TO FACE BURNLEY
TEXT FORM: Leno, Tierney, Gabriel, Holding, Bellerin, Xhaka, Ceballos, Saka, Lacazette, Willian, Aubameyang
GOALKEEPING:
Bernd Leno is Arsenal’s first choice goalkeeper and so there is no doubt that the German international will start in goal for the gunners today.
DEFENCE:
The defence of Tierney, Gabriel, Holding, Bellerin was the one that played in the North London Derby last week but Mikel Arteta could however opt to use it today as David Luiz might not be ready to start as he is a doubt for today’s game. Gabriel and Holding will be important for Arsenal today thanks to their aerial presence as their opponents today love to use set pieces to create chances.
CENTRAL MIDFIELD:
Granit Xhaka and Dani Ceballos were very impressive last season and Mikel Arteta will be hopeful that they can rediscover their form as midfield is the area that has been one of their biggest problems this season.
ATTACKING MIDFIELD:
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta decided to experiment in the North London Derby by playing Lacazette as a no. 10 and since he said that he was happy with the team’s performance despite the defeat, he is likely to use the same attacking midfielder with the Frenchman playing as a central attacking midfielder while Saka and Willian play on the flanks.
STRIKING:
Arsenal supporters finally got their wish of Aubameyang playing as a striker and he will probably start there again today. The Gabon international will hope to end his goal drought in this game.
