Arsenal starting eleven to face Burnley released as Arteta makes changes

Arsenal have today welcomed Burnley at the Emirates Stadium and their lineup has just been released and Mikel Arteta has made some changes.

Arsenal will today take on Burnley at home in a few minutes from now and this will be an important game for Mikel Arteta and his boys as they will need to get all the three points to put their season back on track. Arsenal’s starting eleven to face Burnley has been released and Arteta has made some changes to the squad that played in the North London Derby.

ARSENAL STARTING ELEVEN TO FACE BURNLEY

Leno, Bellerin, Gabriel, Tierney, Xhaka, Elneny, Saka, Willian, Lacazette, Aubameyang

SUBSTITUTES:

Runnarson, Ceballos, Maitland-Niles, Mustafi, Willock, Nketiah, Smith Rowe

Arsenal are of course without Thomas Partey in midfield today since he sustained an injury in the game against Tottenham Hotspur last weekend and Mikel Arteta has decided to replace him with Mohamed Elneny. The gunners come into this game after an impressive 4-2 win in the UEFA Europa League and so Arteta will hope that his players show that confidence in this game as it is a must win.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will hope to end his goal drought today and Mikel Arteta has advised him to trust his instincts even in this period since he seems to over think the chances he gets in the past few weeks. Arsenal despite their current shortcomings are still the favourites to win today’s game against Burnley as they have a pretty good record against The Clarets.
