Report: Paris Saint Germain to include player in deal to sign Matteo Guendouzi

Arsenal midfielder Matteo Guendouzi arrived at the Emirates Stadium in the 2018 summer transfer window and he had a wonderful debut season in the Premier League but he has however found himself sidelined by Mikel Arteta this year. Guendouzi has got linked with an exit from Arsenal this summer and its now been reported that Paris Saint Germain are indeed interested and that they could include a player in a possible deal.

Matteo Guendouzi played in a lot of matches for Arsenal at the start of the season since he was favoured by the then current boss Unai Emery and the incident that saw Granit Xhaka get booed off the pitch saw the young Frenchman continue playing until Mikel Arteta came who then started benching him. Guendouzi was involved in a verbal and physical attack against opponents after Brighton & Hove Albion beat them and he has since then never been picked.

It was last night reported by French source L’équipe that Ligue one Champions Paris Saint Germain were interested in Arsenal midfielder Matteo Guendouzi who has been put on the transfer market by the gunners and that they are hoping to propose the inclusion of Julian Draxler in the deal that would bring the 21 year old to Paris in this summer transfer window.

The report says that Arsenal were earlier trying to get €35million from the sale of Matteo Guendouzi but that they have now reduced on their asking price and that Paris Saint Germain hope that Draxler gets excited about the prospect of coming to the Emirates Stadium as they will not extend his current contract which has only just 12 months remaining. It will be interesting to see if Arsenal will as well be interested in a deal that would see Draxler join them as the German midfielder was linked with them in the past.
