Kieran Tierney’s agent speaks out on Arsenal’s interest in the Celtic star

Arsenal has in the last few weeks been linked with Celtic’s Kieran Tierney but the reports about this move have been confusing ever since it was confirmed that the Scottish club rejected a £15million bid from the North Londoners.

Kieran Tierney is an exciting player that Arsenal fans would be happy to have at the Emirates Stadium as their current left backs were not impressive last season. Kieran Tierney’s agent Allan Preston has finally revealed some information about his clients future who has been linked with Arsenal and Napoli.

Arsenal have already had a bid rejected and there hasn’t been any confirmation of a second bid and Kieran Tierney’s agent has said that a deal happening will depend on Celtic as they have put an asking price for their full back and he also says that none of the interested clubs have submitted a bid that matches the asking price of the Scottish club.

“As the guys say he loves Celtic, he absolutely loves Celtic. Will there be a time for Kieran Tierney to go? I think that there will be, if it’s just now it will be up to the clubs involved.” Tierney’s agent told BBC Sportsound.

“Arsenal, Napoli or whoever to then put the money on the table and make Celtic think about this.”

“If he is on his way he’s on his way. If there is a time for Kieran to go it will be up to Celtic, Peter Lawwell and the board. They have signed a left back but they do need one because Izaguirre is away.”

Most reports claim that Celtic want atleast £25million in order to let go of Kieran Tierney but the gunners are however reluctant to match that offer since they are under a tight budget and have many transfer targets.
