Nicolas Pepe has been linked with a number of clubs but Arsenal is reportedly among the two clubs that have made offers for the Ivorian international.

The gunners are currently on the search for a new winger after Unai Emery told the club that he lacked wingers in his squad last season. Nicolas Pepe is among a handful of names that have been linked with a summer move to Arsenal.
Nicolas Pepe had an outstanding season with Lille in the 2018/19 campaign, scoring 22 goals and making 11 assists and this has seen the Ivorian international attract interest from many top European clubs including Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester United, Napoli and Inter Milan.
Nicolas Pepe is seen as the perfect player for Unai Emery’s Arsenal as he could help the gunners to play with various formations but the gooners have however not thought of the idea of him coming to the Emirates because of his price until now. An exclusive report by Le10Sport claims that Arsenal and Napoli are the two clubs that are leading the race for the signature of Nicolas Pepe as they have both made bids worth €80million.
Nicolas Pepe recently participated in the African Cup Of Nations and he said that he will be making a decision after it and this report claims that Lille wants to end this transfer saga as soon as next week as this will give them time to get a replacement. It is claimed that Arsenal made a €80million bid while Napoli made a €60million plus €20million in add-ons bid to Lille for the signature of Nicolas Pepe.
Nicolas Pepe joining Arsenal would come as a big surprise to the Arsenal fans as they have been linked to Wilfried Zaha more than him. Arsenal spending big money on Pepe would show that Unai Emery wasn’t lying when he said that they might sign some expensive players.
