Arsenal to face Reenes in UEL round of 16 and match details have been released

Arsenal has lost once so far in their UEFA Europa League campaign this season and they will be hoping to beat Rennes home & away.

Arsenal has been drawn with French side Rennes in the UEFA Europa League round of 16 after their 3 nil win vs Bate Borisov restored their beliefs of winning this competition. The first match will be played in France and the second at the Emirates Stadium.

Most of the Arsenal supporters are happy with the UEFA Europa League round of 16 draw because Rennes isn’t a very big team because it is currently in the eleventh position on the French Ligue one table. Here is the information about those two upcoming Arsenal UEFA Europa League matches.

Arsenal head coach Unai Emery has won the UEFA Europa League three times with Sevilla and he will be hoping to do it again with the gunners this season. Arsenal’s boss Unai Emery says that it’s a very important competition.

“It is very important, each competition, and now we have two. In the Premier League we also have the possibility to make our target and in the Europa League, after the first match away, it was very important today to come back and carry on our way here.” said Emery.

“Now we are going to think the same, for the next match.”
