The gunners will tomorrow face Tottenham Hotspur and Unai Emery is likely going to make these two changes in his starting eleven.

The gunners will tomorrow face Tottenham Hotspur at the Emirates Stadium and Unai Emery will be hoping to get back to winning ways after their embarrassing defeat to Southampton on Sunday. Unai Emery has changed his team every week because of injuries and about how the players have performed in the previous matches.
Arsenal defeated Tottenham Hotspur a few weeks ago but it has recovered its form after that defeat while the gunners have struggled since then. So let’s take a look at the players which Unai Emery will likely drop from the starting eleven that faces Tottenham Hotspur tomorrow.
1. ALEX IWOBI
The Nigerian international has been reborn under Unai Emery this season but he has however failed to impress in the last few weeks despite having trust from Unai Emery. Alex Iwobi was great in the months of September and October but he has however failed to impress again and his dribbling techniques are no longer working because he always loses the ball when trying those tricks.

Unai Emery has substituted him at halftime in some matches but it’s not clear why he again includes him in the starting eleven in their next match. Even though Alex Iwobi gave the pass to Monreal who assisted Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s goal at the weekend, he will likely be dropped from the starting eleven tomorrow.
2. MATTEO GUENDOUZI
Matteo Guendouzi arrived at the Emirates Stadium in July and he has been impressive in his first season at the club despite being just 19 years old. Guendouzi has started Arsenal’s last three matches against Manchester United, Huddersfield Town and Southampton but he has impressed in one of those three matches.

He was involved in the build up to Arsenal’s only goal against Huddersfield Town but he however didn’t have a great performance against Manchester United because he didn’t work out well with Lucas Torreira. Guendouzi was yet again paired with Lucas Torreira on Sunday when the gunners faced Southampton and he didn’t have a great performance.
So we will now have to wait and see if Unai Emery will make those changes in his starting eleven but the Arsenal coach has shown that he is a coach who selects lineups based on performances so the above two will probably be benched.
