Lucas Torreira speaks out on his goal and performance against Huddersfield Town

The gunners signed Lucas Torreira in the 2018 summer but the Arsenal fans have already begun comparing him to one of their legends like Vieira because the Uruguayan international is an exceptional player who gives his all for the North Londoners. What’s more interesting is that the gunners signed him for a small amount but he has proven to be a world-class midfielder.

The gunners welcomed Huddersfield Town at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday and Lucas Torreira became the hero that gave Arsenal fans some joy as they now went home well knowing that they have obtained all the three points. His goal against Huddersfield Town was beautiful because he scored it using an acrobatic move which cheered up the Emirates Stadium which was quiet as the gunners looked for a winner.

Lucas Torreira was impressive throughout the game even if you leave out the goal which he scored, he was yet again at the heart of the Arsenal midfield. The Uruguayan international has opened up on his goal and the performance of the club against Huddersfield Town in a tweet he posted yesterday.

He wrote;

“Very happy for this essential victory and for my second goal. Thanks to the fans for the great support. Let’s keep be focused.”

The gunners will now focus on their next match which will be against Qarabag in the UEFA Europa League.
