Arsenal legend reveals what Unai Emery has done right at the Emirates

Arsenal appointed Unai Emery as their new boss in May after the departure of Arsene Wenger. The Spanish coach who arrived after leaving Paris Saint Germain has won over the hearts of the Arsenal fans and they now all believe that it was a right decision to call for the resignation of Arsene Wenger.

The gunners might not be in the Premier League top four but the gunners have been great in all other competitions and are currently on an unbeaten run of 22 matches. Unai Emery has already begun implementing his philosophy on the Arsenal team and the fans are contended for now. Arsenal legend David Seaman believes that the gunners are currently having a good season but also singled out Unai Emery for his work at the Emirates Stadium claiming that he has helped the gunners to get confident.

“Emery has got his players playing with confidence. They are playing well together, they’re playing with confidence and it’s great to see.” said David Seaman as reported by the Mirror.

“Getting back into the top four would be a great season. It’s going to be tough.”

Many other football pundits have also talked about some Arsenal players getting confidence this season and one is Alex Iwobi has been reborn under Unai Emery this season. The gunners will this weekend make a trip to the Saint Mary’s Stadium to face Southampton as they look to continue their unbeaten run that started in August.

Arsenal’s main aim this season is going back to the UEFA Champions League and Unai Emery will be hoping to fulfill that in his first season at the Emirates Stadium.
