OFFICIAL: Arsenal lineup to face Bournemouth released

The gunners will today be welcomed at the Vitality Stadium by Bournemouth and it’s going to be an entertaining encounter because they both badly need the three points. In Arsenal’s perspective, they need to win this game to keep pressure on the top four while the Cherries want to stay in the top six.

Arsenal has released its lineup to face Bournemouth and it seems Unai Emery has brought a surprising squad but maybe it is the right lineup to get them back to winning ways.

ARSENAL LINEUP TO FACE BOURNEMOUTH

Leno, Bellerin, Sokratis, Mustafi, Holding, Kolasinac, Torreira, Xhaka, Mkhitaryan, Iwobi, Aubameyang

SUBSTITUTES:

Cech, Maitland-Niles, Elneny, Ramsey, Ozil, Guendouzi, Nketiah

It seems Alexandre Lacazette has missed today’s match because he wasn’t fit when the team travelled. Unai Emery’s lineup is however surprising because there is three centre backs on the pitch while Ozil is benched.

Arsenal is without Nacho Monreal, Lichtsteiner and Danny Welbeck because they are still injured. Unai Emery believes that Bournemouth are a tough team, here’s what the Arsenal boss had to say about the Cherries!

“They are a very organised team, they work hard, they work tactically in every game and in their style, with their supporters, they feel they can win against every team.” said Unai Emery.

“For us, Sunday is a very big test, a very high level test for how we can continue in our process and our progress.”
