Report: Two Arsenal Transfer Targets Had Their Medicals Today In London

Arsenal are set to complete the signing of Lucas Torreira and Matteo Guendouzi who both are reported to have had their medicals today in London.

Arsenal’s Medical team must have had a pretty busy day today as they examined two players who will soon be announced as gunners in the coming days or even tomorrow if all the negotiations are done.

Lucas Torreira and Matteo Guendouzi are expected to have made their medicals in London today as they edged closer to completing their transfers to the Emirates Stadium this summer. Torreira has been linked with a move to Arsenal for the last four weeks and the Uruguay international delayed the transfer after he rejected a chance to do the medical in Russia.

Matteo Guendouzi has however just been linked with the gunners for just three days but it seems that the deal will go through because the gunners are reported to have a £7.1million deal with Lorient for the highly rated youngster. The gunners are also said to have also agreed a £26.5million deal with Sampdoria for the defensive midfielder who will be joining them this summer.

These two players will likely be the last player which Unai Emery will sign this summer because he is on a tight budget, by the end of the transfer window, the new Arsenal manager might have exceeded the £70million budget which the board gave him when he took charge of the North London club.
