Former Arsenal Star Jack Wilshere Joins New Club

Former Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has signed for West Ham United who get the Englishman on a three-year deal.

Former Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere left the gunners on 1st July after he let his contract expire because he wanted to leave the Emirates Stadium this summer after he was told by Unai Emery that he isn’t guaranteed regular football next season.

West Ham United have completed the signing of English international Jack Wilshere on a three-year deal which will see the former Arsenal Star be a hammer until 2021 and this will be a tough time for the midfielder because it’s the first time he has left the gunners permanently after spending a decade at the Emirates Stadium.

Jack Wilshere has revealed his excitement about joining West Ham United after a few days of speculation which saw him get linked with a number of European clubs.

“It feels good, it feels special. Many people know that I have a special bond with this club growing up. ” the 26-year-old told Mirror Sport.

“People will have seen the picture of me in a West Ham shirt and I have got good memories of my childhood supporting West Ham, watching them at Upton Park.”

Arsenal fans will feel awkward to see Jack Wilshere wearing their opponent’s shirt next season because he has been a fan favourite at the Emirates Stadium but the Englishman also said that it hurts him a lot to leave the gunners after many years of good memories with them.
