Mesut Ozil Wants Arsenal Jersey Number 10

Mesut Ozil is known to have long been hoping to get the Arsenal shirt no.10 but he has now got the chance since Jack Wilshere is leaving.

Jack Wilshere who was wearing the no.10 shirt at the Emirates Stadium will be leaving the club as soon as his contract which ends in a few days expires.

Mesut Ozil has long been waiting for the chance to finally get that jersey number because it is his preferred since he is wearing it in the Germany national team as he is even wearing it this summer in the FIFA WORLD CUP.

The Mirror claims that the German international is desperate to get the shirt no.10 before the start of the next season or even before a new Arsenal signing asks for it because it will be free since Wilshere will be leaving after the start of July.

Mesut Ozil has meanwhile been criticized by Germany supporters due to his performance in the FIFA WORLD CUP with many saying that he is just a very lazy footballer who can’t impress when the match is very tough.
