Arsenal In Concrete Talks With Caglar Soyuncu As The Club Look To Complete Second Signing

Arsenal is close to getting it's second summer signing after Caglar Soyuncu's agent confirms that they are in concrete talks with the gunners giving much hope for a deal to go through.

Arsenal are working around the clock to bring in new signings to strengthen their squad but it looks like signing defenders is what Unai Emery will focus on in this summer transfer window. Gunners transfer target Caglar Soyuncu’s agent confirms that Arsenal are in concrete talks with the defender.

The gunners have so far signed one defender but are still linked with a several defenders but it looks like the transfer rumours linking Arsenal to Freiburg’s defender Caglar Soyuncu seem authenticate because his agent Mustafa Dogru said that only the fee is left to be discussed before he finally makes a move to the Emirates Stadium.

“Sven Mislitant has been keen on Calgar since he was at Borussia Dortmund. He first scouted him back in Germany.” Caglar Soyuncu’s agent told Turkish Football.

“There are concrete talks and all that remains is for a fee to be agreed. We will see what happens next.”

The gunners hired Sven Mislitant back in November 2017 to be the new head of recruitment but he has been very impressive for the club as it looks like he is the man behind the deal of Caglar Soyuncu to the Emirates Stadium in the coming weeks.

Caglar’s agent Mustafa Dogru also confirmed that there was interest from Liverpool who also wanted to sign the defender but the player prefers a move to the North London club.
