Arsene Wenger badly needed these three points because the supporters had already started losing hope in the squad as they had only won 2 of their first five matches but they made it three out of a maximum of 6 goals as they eased off Tony Pulis' men at the Emirates stadium and the gunners have benefited so much from this match as they have moved from the bottom table 12th to the 7th place and are now only 6 points away from the league leaders. The gunners began the match under too much pressure but finally started to settle things out as they now started to make attacks towards the goal of West Brom Albion until they finally got that free kick which helped them get a breakthrough after Alexandre Lacazette finished off Alexis Sanchez,'s free kick shot which had failed to find the net.
