Arsenal Reportedly Ready To Sign Real Madrid Star That Wants Out

Arsenal and Liverpool are reportedly intensifying their pursuit of Brazilian winger Rodrygo Goes, with both Premier League clubs getting excited about the prospect of signing him this summer.

Rodrygo is understood to be 90% decided on leaving Real Madrid, prompting interest from top English clubs. His potential departure from the Santiago Bernabéu comes amidst increased competition for attacking positions, especially following the arrival of Kylian Mbappé and the emergence of Arda Güler. These developments have limited his playing time, leading him to consider opportunities elsewhere.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is keen to bolster his attacking options, and Rodrygo’s versatility—being able to play across the front line—makes him an attractive target. Similarly, Liverpool see Rodrygo as a potential long-term successor to Mohamed Salah, given his ability to operate effectively on the right wing.

While Real Madrid are reluctant to part ways with the Brazilian international, there is a belief that they could be open to negotiations if a substantial offer, potentially in the region of €100 million, is presented. Both Arsenal and Liverpool are reportedly preparing significant bids to try and secure his services.

As the summer transfer window approaches, the competition between Arsenal and Liverpool for Rodrygo’s signature is expected to heat up, with both clubs eager to add the talented 23-year-old forward to their squads.
