Jorginho gives his honest opinion on those that heavily criticize Kai Havertz

Arsenal midfielder Jorginho has passionately defended his teammate Kai Havertz, questioning the criticism the German international has received since joining the Gunners. Speaking about Havertz’s ability and contribution, Jorginho was quick to highlight the former Chelsea star’s importance to the team and his growing influence.

“It’s crazy because Kai is just an unbelievable player,” Jorginho began. “At the beginning, when people were hammering him, I was like, what are they talking about? I couldn’t believe it. It felt surreal. I even went to Kai a few times to tell him, ‘Don’t listen, forget about it. You know what you can do.’”

Jorginho emphasized Havertz’s quality and the integral role he plays for Arsenal. “How much he helps the team, the way he plays—it’s amazing. For me, the big improvement he has shown since coming to the Premier League is how much tougher he’s getting every day. He’s at a place now that’s unbelievable.”

The Italian midfielder also praised Havertz’s intelligence on the pitch, calling him a player who consistently finds solutions in challenging situations. “The confidence he has, and the confidence he gives to the team, is huge. He’s so clever, always putting his body in the best positions. He always provides solutions, even in situations where you don’t think he’ll come out on top. He’s a baller, a big one.”

Jorginho’s strong defense of Havertz underscores the growing belief in the German within the Arsenal squad. While criticism from outside continues to linger, Havertz’s improving form and contributions suggest he is beginning to justify his place in Mikel Arteta’s side.

With the season progressing, both Jorginho and Havertz will aim to further bolster Arsenal’s push for Premier League glory.
