Arsenal is set to face Preston North End in the EFL Cup Round of 16, with the match set to kick off in a few minutes. Mikel Arteta has announced a strong starting lineup, blending experience with youth to navigate this away fixture at Deepdale Stadium.

In goal, Tommy Setford gets the nod, giving the young goalkeeper an opportunity to impress. The backline consists of Timber, Saliba, Kiwior, and Zinchenko, providing both defensive solidity and the potential to push forward. Arteta appears to have chosen a balanced defense, likely to maintain control against a challenging opponent.

In midfield, Jorginho anchors alongside Merino and Nwaneri. This combination is set to bring experience and energy, with Jorginho’s composure complementing Merino’s dynamism and Nwaneri’s youthful creativity.

Upfront, Arsenal’s attack is led by Gabriel Jesus, with Sterling and Martinelli on the flanks. This trio promises pace, skill, and finishing power, creating an exciting prospect for Arsenal fans. On the bench, Arsenal has options like Raya, Rice, and Trossard if needed.
