Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has been nominated for the Premier League Manager of the Month award for August, recognizing his impressive start to the 2024/25 season.
Arteta, who last won the award in February, guided the Gunners to an unbeaten August, securing wins against Wolves and Aston Villa before earning a hard-fought draw against Brighton & Hove Albion.
The club’s statement highlighted Arteta’s impressive management during a challenging month, particularly the point gained against Brighton despite playing with ten men.
Arteta’s nomination is a testament to his tactical acumen and ability to inspire his team. He joins a shortlist that includes Pep Guardiola (Manchester City), Arne Slot (Liverpool), and Fabian Herzeler (Brighton), all managers who have also enjoyed strong starts to the season.
Arsenal fans can show their support for Arteta by voting for him on the Premier League website until midday on Monday, September 9.
This nomination is another positive sign for Arsenal, as they look to build on their strong start and challenge for top honors this season.
