Premier League legend makes statement about Arsenal that will excite gooners

Premier League legend Alan Shearer has boldly declared that Arsenal are capable of winning the title this season, sending a wave of excitement through the Gunners fanbase.

Speaking about Arsenal’s chances, Shearer highlighted the team’s impressive defensive record last season and their strategic summer signings. “Yeah, Arsenal had the best defence in the league last season, they have gone out and signed a defender,” he said. “We expect Merino to come in next week.”

The former Newcastle striker, who holds the record for most Premier League goals, was particularly impressed with Arsenal’s performance last season. “89 points last season, took it all the way to the final day,” he remarked. “I think they can win the league, yeah, absolutely. I think they can do it, yes, definitely!”

Shearer’s confidence in Arsenal stems from their impressive squad depth and consistent performances last season. The Gunners narrowly missed out on the title to Manchester City, but their strong showing indicates their potential to challenge for the crown again this year.

The arrival of Mikel Merino, a midfielder who is expected to complete his move to Arsenal soon, further strengthens their squad. Merino’s addition will provide Arteta with more options in midfield, adding to the team’s already formidable firepower.

With a strong squad and a clear determination to win the title, Arsenal will be a force to be reckoned with this season. Shearer’s bold prediction has undoubtedly ignited the Gunners’ ambitions, and fans will be hoping that their beloved team can live up to the legendary striker’s high expectations.
