New report reveals conditions that will let Arteta’s Arsenal sign a winger this summer

The final days of the summer transfer window are heating up for Arsenal, with a potential winger signing on the horizon. However, transfer news expert Fabrizio Romano has revealed the crucial factor that will determine if the Gunners pull the trigger on a deal.

“There is still a feeling Arsenal could do something for a winger, but it’s important to understand first of all what happens with Reiss Nelson – if there is a club in the final two days prepared to sign him,” Romano stated on his YouTube channel.

“In that case, for Arsenal, it could be an opportunity to bring in one more player. Arsenal have been exploring the market of wingers in recent days.”

The Gunners have already bolstered their midfield with the arrivals of Riccardo Calafiori and Mikel Merino, but a new winger remains a priority. However, the club’s approach appears to be contingent on the future of Reiss Nelson.

If a club emerges with a suitable offer for the young Englishman, it would free up space in the squad and potentially open the door for a new arrival.

With the transfer window closing in, Arsenal are actively exploring options in the winger market, but their final decision appears to be heavily influenced by the outcome of Nelson’s situation. The coming days will be crucial for the Gunners as they decide whether to add another attacker to their ranks before the deadline.
