David Raya sends a special message to Arsenal fans after being permanently signed

Arsenal have confirmed the permanent signing of goalkeeper David Raya, securing the services of the Golden Glove winner from last season. The Spaniard, who joined the Gunners on a season-long loan from Brentford, has now committed his future to the North London club.

“After a year on loan as a Gunner, I can finally say that I’m an Arsenal player for the coming years,” Raya told Arsenal Media, expressing his excitement about the future. “I’m excited to see what the future holds but always living in and enjoying the present.”

The 28-year-old goalkeeper made a significant impact during his loan spell, showcasing his exceptional shot-stopping abilities and crucial contributions to Arsenal’s impressive second-place finish in the Premier League. His impressive performances earned him the Golden Glove award, recognizing him as the league’s best goalkeeper.

“It’s a dream come true to be here and I want to thank you for all the support you have already given me throughout the last year,” Raya added, acknowledging the support of the Arsenal fans.

Raya’s permanent move to Arsenal signifies the club’s ambition and their desire to maintain a high level of competition within their squad. With the Spaniard now a permanent fixture, Arsenal fans can look forward to seeing him continue to shine between the sticks for many years to come.
