Arsenal receive new obstacle in their pursuit of Victor Osimhen

As Arsenal fans eagerly await the transfer window to open, whispers of a potential move for Napoli striker Victor Osimhen have intensified. Recent reports from Italy  suggest that despite a massive offer from the Saudi Pro League, Osimhen himself is not interested in a move to the Middle East. This has sparked renewed hope for Arsenal, who are reportedly keen on bringing the Nigerian forward to the Emirates.

However, a price tag remains a significant hurdle. While Napoli are believed to be seeking a fee in the region of €120 million, Arsenal are said to be unwilling to pay that amount, valuing the 24-year-old striker closer to €75 million. This discrepancy could prove to be a stumbling block in negotiations, as both clubs will be aiming to secure the best possible deal.

Osimhen’s impressive performances for Napoli last season, where he scored 15 goals and provided 4 assists, have attracted significant interest from several European giants. His pace, power, and clinical finishing make him a formidable attacking force, and he would be a valuable addition to any team.

Ultimately, the outcome of this transfer saga will depend on the willingness of both parties to compromise. If Arsenal can convince Napoli to lower their asking price, a move for Osimhen could become a reality, potentially adding another dimension to their already impressive attack. The coming weeks will be crucial in determining the future of this exciting transfer story.
