REVEALED: Arsenal’s records achieved despite not winning the Premier League

Arsenal finished second on the Premier League table after a long title race but here are some of the records that the gunners achieved.

While Arsenal may have fallen short of winning the Premier League title, finishing just two points behind Manchester City, their 2023/24 season was a resounding success in terms of individual achievements and record-breaking performances. The Gunners left an indelible mark on the league with a series of impressive milestones.

Arsenal set a new club record for league wins with 28, a testament to their dominance throughout the campaign. They also boasted the highest win percentage in all competitions (67.3%), showcasing their ability to perform at a consistently high level. Their incredible start to 2024, with 8 consecutive wins, demonstrated their unwavering momentum and determination.

The team’s offensive prowess was on full display, as they became the first team in English football to achieve three straight away wins by a margin of 5 goals or more. They also matched a league record for goals scored from corners (16), a testament to their set-piece prowess.

On the defensive side, Arsenal displayed remarkable solidity, achieving the best club defensive record in 20 years (29 goals conceded) and the most clean sheets in the league (18). This impressive defensive performance was further underscored by a club-record goal difference of +62.

These accomplishments, though not culminating in a title, highlight the clear progress and development under Mikel Arteta’s leadership. The Gunners have established themselves as a formidable force, capable of competing with the best and shattering club records along the way. This season’s success sets the stage for an exciting future, with the potential for Arsenal to become a true Premier League powerhouse in the years to come.
