Arsenal star announces his departure from the club in a statement via social media

The Premier League campaign came to an end a few days ago and now players will now start sorting out their futures. An Arsenal star has announced his departure.

Arsenal defender Cedric Soares has announced his departure from the club after his contract was not renewed. The Portuguese full-back, who made mostly substitute appearances for the Gunners, took to X to express his gratitude to the fans and everyone at the Emirates.

In a heartfelt message, Cedric wrote: “What a Team and what a Club. When I say a team, I mean exactly that, quality in every player, the professionalism that you show and the amazing human beings you guys are, so thank you! When I say club I mean all the departments, all the staff that is constantly putting all the hard hours on and off the pitch to make it possible to fight at the highest level. When I say club it also means its heart and with this I mean you guys, THE FANS, that made this journey soo unreal and unforgettable. So to all the fans, I thank you! You will always have a special place in my heart! Arsenal, COYG.”

Cedric’s words highlight the positive experience he had at Arsenal, praising both the team’s quality and the unwavering support of the fans. He acknowledged the hard work of everyone at the club, from the players and staff to the supporters, who made his time at the Emirates memorable.

Although his time at Arsenal was primarily spent on the sidelines, Cedric’s departure marks the end of an era for the Portuguese defender, who leaves with fond memories and a deep appreciation for the club and its fans.
