Declan Rice speaks out on taking over Arsenal’s captaincy from Odegaard

Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice has recently expressed his aspirations of one day wearing the captain’s armband for the club, currently held by Martin Odegaard. “I was growing in confidence and as a leader. I still see myself going that way. There is Martin Odegaard at my club,” said Rice, highlighting his personal development on and off the pitch. “I’m not thinking about it, but if anything were to ever happen to him, I really would love to put the armband on for Arsenal,” he remarked, showcasing his desire to take on more responsibilities within the team.
