Arsenal legend reveals what’s special about Kai Havertz and addresses his criticism

Former Arsenal star and club legend Freddie Ljungberg recently shared his admiration for Arsenal midfielder Kai Havertz, highlighting the German’s exceptional qualities on the pitch. Ljungberg commended Havertz’s prowess, emphasizing the midfielder’s impressive left foot, stating, “I think he has a great left foot. I don’t care what people say, like he’s a success or not a success. His technical ability is great I think.”

Furthermore, Ljungberg delved into Havertz’s composure and finesse, particularly in critical moments. He remarked, “When he’s calm, like this, he just buries it. It was easy to get the wrong spin on the ball and it goes outside the post. He hits it cleanly, calmly. Great goal!” Ljungberg’s insights shed light on the subtleties of Havertz’s gameplay and highlight the midfielder’s capacity to deliver pivotal performances for Arsenal.

As Arsenal solidify their position in 3rd place on the Premier League table with 61 points from 27 league games in the ongoing 2023/24 campaign, Havertz’s contributions have been instrumental in the team’s success. The Gunners’ recent 6-0 victory against Sheffield United at Bramall Lane showcased their attacking flair, with Havertz playing a key role in the emphatic win.

Looking ahead to Arsenal’s upcoming fixture against Brentford at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday, 9th March, 2024, Havertz’s consistent display of technical excellence and calm under pressure will be crucial as the Gunners continue their pursuit of silverware. Ljungberg’s words encapsulate the admiration for Havertz’s skill and demeanor on the field, underscoring the midfielder’s significance in Arsenal’s quest for glory in the Premier League campaign.
