Mikel Arteta provides fresh new update on when Thomas Partey will return

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has revealed when the gunners could expect to have back their star midfielder, Thomas Partey.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has provided an update on the injury of midfielder Thomas Partey ahead of their upcoming December fixtures. The Gunners are currently sitting in 1st position on the Premier League table with 36 points after 15 league games in the 2023/24 campaign.

In their recent Premier League game against Luton Town at Kenilworth Road, Arsenal secured a thrilling 4-3 victory. Their next challenge will be up against Aston Villa at Villa Park on 9th December, 2023.

When asked about the possibility of Thomas Partey being back in action for the Christmas fixtures, Arteta expressed uncertainty about the exact return date but mentioned that it would be “incredibly fast” if Partey is able to make a comeback by then as per the media.

Partey has been sidelined due to an injury, and his absence has been felt in the midfield for Arsenal. His return would undoubtedly provide a significant boost to the team as they continue their pursuit of success in both domestic and European competitions.

As Arsenal look to maintain their position at the top of the table, having key players like Partey available for selection will be crucial for Arteta’s side. The manager and fans alike will be hoping for a speedy recovery for the talented midfielder as they navigate through a busy schedule during the festive period.
