Trossard reveals why Bukayo Saka has assisted all his Arsenal goals

Arsenal forward Leandro Trossard has credited his successful partnership with Bukayo Saka for his recent goal-scoring form. The Belgian international opened up about his connection with Saka after the two combined once again in Arsenal’s recent 3-1 win over Burnley.

“I don’t know why but every time Bukayo Saka is on the ball, I just know I need to make a movement or come close to him and in this moment I just gambled on him winning the header and he did and that’s why I got the goal today,” Trossard told Arsenal Media.

The goal against Burnley was Trossard’s seventh goal for the gunners, all of which have been assisted by Saka. The duo’s understanding on the pitch has been a key factor in Arsenal’s success this season, as they currently sit in 3rd position on the Premier League table with 27 points in the 2023/24 campaign.

“We had two tough games this week before today and we knew that today was going to be a hard game as well so it is really important that we won and we go with a good feeling into the international break,” Trossard added.

Arsenal’s next game will be against Brentford in the Premier League at Gtech Community Stadium on Saturday 25th, Nov. 2023. With Trossard and Saka in fine form, Arsenal will be hoping to continue their impressive run of results as they look to challenge for silverware this season.
