REVEALED: Arsenal’s likely squad to face Burnley

Arsenal are set to face Burnley today at the Emirates Stadium in the Premier League, and manager Mikel Arteta will have to make some key decisions regarding his lineup due to injuries and doubts among his players.

In their recent UEFA Champions League game against Sevilla, Arsenal secured a 2-0 victory at home, boosting their confidence ahead of the upcoming league fixture. Currently sitting in 4th position on the Premier League table with 24 points in this 2023/24 campaign, the Gunners will be looking to continue their good form and secure another important win.

However, Arteta will have to navigate some injury concerns as Thomas Partey (thigh), Emile Smith Rowe (knee), and Timber (knee) are all sidelined. Additionally, there are doubts surrounding the availability of Gabriel Jesus, Eddie Nketiah, Martin Odegaard, Bukayo Saka, and Takehiro Tomiyasu for the Burnley clash.

PREDICTED ARSENAL LINEUP TO FACE BURNLEY

Raya; White, Saliba, Gabriel, Zinchenko; Havertz, Jorginho, Rice; Saka, Trossard, Martinelli

FORMATION

4-3-3

Based on these factors, a predicted lineup for Arsenal to face Burnley could see Raya in goal; a defensive line consisting of White, Saliba, Gabriel, and Zinchenko; a midfield trio of Havertz, Jorginho, and Rice; with Saka, Trossard, and Martinelli leading the attack.

With key players potentially missing from the lineup due to injury or doubt, Arteta will have to rely on the depth of his squad to secure a positive result against Burnley. The Gunners will be aiming for all three points as they look to maintain their position near the top of the table.
