Arteta reveals the Arsenal player that has settled well into the squad this season

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has expressed his delight at how new signing Declan Rice has settled into the team. The midfielder, who arrived from West Ham United in the summer for a fee of £105million, has impressed with his performances on the pitch.

Speaking about Rice, Arteta said as per club media, “He was superb again today. The consistency that he’s showing, the understanding of the game, the decision-making all the time and then the action. And the timing that he’s got to win the ball back to give the line of pass to break the team, the speed that he plays when the ball gets around him, I think he’s been so good.”

Arteta highlighted Rice’s ability to read the game and make crucial decisions, as well as his speed and timing in winning the ball back. The manager commended Rice’s overall contribution, describing it as “superb.”

Rice’s settling into the team has been a significant factor in Arsenal’s success this season. Currently sitting at the top of the Premier League table with 30 points after 13 league games, the Gunners have been in impressive form. Their recent victory over Lens in the UEFA Champions League showcased their attacking prowess, with goals from various players including Rice himself.

The team’s next challenge will be against Wolverhampton in the Premier League, where they will look to maintain their winning streak. With Rice’s consistent performances and understanding of the game, Arsenal fans can expect him to play a key role in their upcoming matches.
