Spurs’ start to the season has been exceptionally successful. It seems that the new coach, Ange Postecoglou, has already become a cult figure among Tottenham fans, who grew tired of the drab football under the leadership of Jose Mourinho and Antonio Conte. Even without star Harry Kane, who moved to Bayern Munich this summer, they have scored aplenty.
James Maddison adds creativity to the team, and Son Heung-Min’s hat-trick against Burnley might be a catalyst for a return to the glory days. However, Spurs will need to find a worthy replacement for Kane in January to continue their trophy hunt.
