Arsenal fans have been given the opportunity to show their support for manager Mikel Arteta by voting for him in the Premier League Manager of the Month award for August. The club released a statement urging fans to vote for Arteta, highlighting his achievements in guiding the team to an unbeaten start to the season.
Arteta’s nomination comes after Arsenal secured wins against Nottingham Forest and Crystal Palace, as well as a draw against Fulham, earning them seven points out of a possible nine. This impressive start has not gone unnoticed by the Premier League, who have included Arteta in a five-man shortlist for the prestigious managerial prize.

The statement from Arsenal acknowledged that Arteta had previously won four monthly awards last season, bringing his total at the club to six. However, he faces tough competition this time around, with Manchester City’s Pep Guardiola also nominated after winning all three of his team’s matches in August.
The other contenders for the award are Liverpool’s Jurgen Klopp, West Ham United’s David Moyes, and new Tottenham Hotspur manager Ange Postecoglu. Like Arsenal, both Liverpool and Tottenham recorded two wins and a draw from their first three matches.
The winner of the award will be determined by a combination of votes from supporters and a panel of experts. Fans can cast their votes on the Premier League website until midday UK time on Monday, September 11.
This nomination is another positive sign of progress under Arteta’s leadership at Arsenal. Since taking over as manager in December 2019, he has implemented his tactical philosophy and instilled a strong sense of discipline within the squad. The team’s performances have improved significantly under his guidance, and this recognition from the Premier League is further validation of his impact on the club.
As Arsenal fans eagerly await the outcome of the Manager of the Month award, they have been given an opportunity to show their appreciation for Arteta’s efforts by casting their votes. The statement from the club serves as a reminder of the team’s achievements in August and encourages fans to support their manager in his quest for recognition.
