Jorginho makes a decision on leaving Arsenal this summer

Arsenal midfielder Jorginho has been linked with an exit from the Emirates Stadium in this transfer window but a new report has revealed his decision on this.

Jorginho is understood to have no intention of leaving the club this summer. It’s been reported in Turkey that Jorginho wants to move away in this transfer window but Telegraph Sport understands that he is keen to stay at the Emirates and fight for his place in the team.

At 31 years old, Jorginho made 14 appearances for Arsenal in the Premier League last season during his six months at the club. The Gunners signed him from Chelsea in the January transfer window, and although he only managed to provide one assist, he showed glimpses of his quality and potential impact on the pitch.

As the new season approaches, with just one week until kick-off, speculation has been rife about Jorginho’s future. However, it seems that he is committed to staying at Arsenal and proving himself under manager Mikel Arteta.

Jorginho’s decision to stay at Arsenal comes as a relief for many fans who have seen several key players leave the club this summer. With Granit Xhaka’s departure rumors surrounding other players like Kieran Tierney and Nicolas Pepe, Jorginho’s presence will provide much-needed stability in the squad.

Despite facing competition from other talented midfielders such as Thomas Partey and Declan Rice, Jorginho is determined to fight for his place in the starting lineup. His experience and technical abilities make him a valuable asset for Arteta’s tactical plans.

The transfer window may still be open, but it seems unlikely that Jorginho will be leaving Arsenal anytime soon. His commitment to staying at the Emirates demonstrates his belief in Arteta’s project and his desire to contribute positively to the team’s success.

Furthermore, Jorginho’s decision could also be influenced by his desire for regular playing time ahead of next year’s World Cup. As an Italian international, he will undoubtedly want to impress national team coach Roberto Mancini and secure his place in the squad for the tournament.

As Arsenal prepares for the upcoming season, Jorginho’s dedication and determination to stay at the club will undoubtedly boost team morale. His experience and leadership qualities will be crucial both on and off the pitch, especially as Arteta aims to guide Arsenal back to their former glory.
