Arteta reveals the good news Arsenal have received ahead of Fulham game

Arsenal will welcome Fulham to the Emirates Stadium on Saturday and Mikel Arteta has revealed the good news they've received ahead of this game.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has delivered some positive news ahead of their upcoming match against Fulham at the Emirates Stadium. The good news comes in the form of Gabriel Jesus’ return to the squad after recovering from surgery.

Jesus, who had an impressive preseason, unfortunately had to undergo surgery, which was a big blow for both the player and the team. However, Arteta revealed that the Brazilian forward is now looking good and ready to go.

“I was really happy. It was a big blow after the preseason he had to have surgery. He’s looking good. He’s ready to go.” said Arteta on Jesus’ return.

The news of Jesus’ return will undoubtedly boost Arsenal’s attacking options as they aim to continue their winning streak in the Premier League. The Gunners have made a strong start to the 2023/24 season, currently sitting in third position with six points on the table.

In their previous game against Crystal Palace, Arsenal secured a hard-fought 1-0 victory. This win followed their opening day triumph over Brentford, making it two wins out of two for Arteta’s side.

The return of Jesus will provide Arteta with more options up front and add depth to Arsenal’s attacking prowess. With his pace, skill, and goal-scoring ability, Jesus can be a real threat to any opposition defense.

Arteta expressed his delight at having Jesus back in contention for selection. The manager acknowledged that it was disappointing for Jesus to have undergone surgery after an impressive preseason. However, he emphasized that the Brazilian forward has recovered well and is eager to make an impact on the pitch.

As Arsenal prepare to face Fulham this Saturday, Arteta will be hoping that his team can maintain their winning momentum. With Jesus back in action and the squad firing on all cylinders, Arsenal will be aiming for another three points to solidify their position near the top of the table.

The return of Gabriel Jesus is undoubtedly a boost for Arsenal as they look to build on their early-season success. Fans will be eagerly anticipating his contribution.

As the Gunners gear up for their clash against Fulham, the return of Jesus provides a timely boost and adds to the growing optimism surrounding the club. Arsenal fans will be hoping that his presence on the pitch can help propel them to further success in the Premier League this season.
